Who broke your heart brave one,
and made you so afraid of me?
You gave me strength where I thought I had none,
and with it I can finally see.

I would kill the one who hurt you if I knew,
but you’ll never tell me.
If you could understand how much I love you,
you’d realize that it’s free.

Who cause you to fear love, beautiful one,
and made you run away?
I wish I could be that special someone,
with whom you want to stay.

Some people deserve to have their hearts broken,
but I’d never wish that on you.
