Discussion questions for Caroline’s Lighthouse
A lot of the YA books I have read lately include discussion questions in the back of the novels. I didn’t do that for Caroline’s Lighthouse, but I still think it leaves room for discussion. Everything I wrote was thought out and intentional. Every description, character interaction, and each snippet of dialogue was scrutinized. It has foreshadowing and irony for people who like to analyze those types of things, but it is hidden enough that people looking for a quick read can skim right over it and enjoy the story. ***Spoiler Alert*** if you haven’t read the novel.

Jordan’s Sister-Draft of Chapter One
I haven’t done this before, but I am sharing the first draft of chapter one of my novel-in-progress, Jordan’s Sister. I have not completed my editing process other than to check for grammar and spelling mistakes, so it still needs some polishing. I welcome any feedback. I climbed a wall
I participated in a team building exercise at work last week. The group of people I work with are all so different. We handle marketing and communication for the university, so as you can imagine, that takes a lot of different people. We have a closed day every month in which we have lunch together and do some sort of team building exercise. It helps us work together and take a break from the daily grind.
